ROG and TUF machines are built for sustained load (strong cooling, honest power delivery) but "built for load" is not "immune to it". Years of cycles land on the same components every gaming laptop eventually stresses: charging circuits, power stages and the joints around them. This bench repairs those faults at component level, at one fixed price, with post both ways included.

What to check before you post it
The no-power triage for machines that will not start; heat vs power for machines that die mid-game; the BIOS-fault guide if the history starts with an update. Note the exact symptom in the ticket. "won't turn on" and "turns off under load" are two different repairs, and the triage tells you which you are quoting before any postage is spent.

Do you take both ROG and TUF machines?
Yes. Both ranges, everything from entry TUF to the top ROG lines, at the same fixed price.
My ROG powers but won't post after an update. Fixable?
Often, yes. The BIOS/EFI chip is reprogrammed or replaced with a dedicated programmer; the boot-loop guide covers the fifteen-minute version, and the bench does the rest.
What needs to be sent in?
The complete machine with the adapter, and the exact symptom noted on the ticket. 'won't start' and 'dies under load' are two different repairs.
How much does the repair cost?
£120 + VAT fixed (post both ways and a 12-month warranty included) or £180 + VAT in the priority slot. Diagnosis is £35 + VAT and is waived when the repair goes ahead.
